University Park Country Club

The University Park Country Club facility is just south of Bradenton and has three courses to choose from. All are a par of 36 and about 3500 feet. Designed by Ron Garl.

Myakka River State Park is one of Florida's oldest and largest state parks. The Scenic Myakka River flows through 57 square miles of wetlands, prairies, and woodlands. Go for hiking, fishing, camping, and wildlife observation.

Coquina Baywalk

Coquina Baywalk at Leffis Key is directly across the street from Coquina Beach at the far south side of Anna Maria Island. The trails offer panoramic views of the bay from observation decks tucked away in the mangroves. Climb to the top of a hill for a sweeping view of the bay and ocean. The footpaths and boardwalks lead visitors through 30 acres of carefully restored wetlands.
