Seniors on the move?

The reasons for the move are varied--downsizing, moving close to your children, living costs are less expensive than where you are living now, finding a home in an area you always wanted to live, or perhaps, moving into an assisted living facility. Whatever the reason is there are some hard and fast rules that apply.

Once you have placed your house on the market and decided where you would like to move, perhaps you already have an area and place in mind, take a survey of the contents of your home and then:

Decide what is important to take with you, what to sell, what to see if your relatives would like, what to give to Goodwill and what to trash, Not sure where to start or what to do check with Luann Morrow at ETA.

Determine if the items you want to keep will fit and go well in your new environment.
